My photography career began 10 years ago while I was studying Fine Art
at CU Boulder. During my summers I apprenticed with respected wedding
& portrait photographers in Denver.
After graduating with my BA in
Fine Art Photography & a minor in French, I ventured into the world
of freelance photography. This career/lifestyle has treated me very
well and I feel very fortunate to be able to share with others my
passion for making art & capturing moments through photography
I've grasped onto the concepts that life is for living in the moment,
spreading love & laughing as often as we can.
This little sweet pea was in her Mommy’s belly when I last took family portraits and I was so excited to meet her! Alexa Mae (best middle name in the world, by the way…my full name: Kellie MAE Coughlin) made me giggle, coo & sigh all through our shoot – she’s an absolute darling!
The Davis Family came over on Valentine’s day afternoon – it was a rare occasion that all the boys were in town at the same time so this was the perfect time to get a Family Portrait! We started off inside the studio…
Then we headed outside to play in the fresh air!
It was a chilly January morning in Denver when Anne, Justin & Kale came to my studio so we planned on shooting only inside. But of course the Colorado sunshine peaked through the clouds just as we started shooting and we just HAD to play outside for a while. I really glad everyone was as excited as me to spend the majority of our shoot in the fresh air. This darling family will celebrate the love between Justin & Anne in just a few weeks. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding at The Hotel Monaco & share more special moments with them!

Christine is represented by Maximum Talent here in Denver as well as ESI & CESD out in California. She’s traveling to LA in a couple weeks to audition for several new TV shows. I would not be surprised to see this energetic & passionate young lady on my TV screen in the next year!
I was introduced to Neil a couple years ago when Qi Downtown opened. He is a personal trainer at my gym & just a few weeks ago became a daddy! The whole family came along to be with Baby Lila (or Daisy as they have so sweety nicknamed her) for her newborn portraits.

Chris, Tasha, Emma & baby-girl-to-be spent the morning with me on Saturday. Little Emma told me how she is going to help Mommy change poopy diapers when her new Baby Sister is here. Everyone is super excited to meet the newest addition to this beautiful family & I can’t wait to share her infant portraits in a few months!
I’ve known Mel for many years now…he helped my little brother buy his first house almost 10 years ago & he helped me with my first home a few years ago. I was so happy that even after all our business was done, Mel kept me in the know about all his happenings – especially when his little boy Noah came into the world AND now little Jonah! I had a super fun time shooting their portraits last week. The weather outside was definitely frightful but inside my warm studio it was nothing but delightful
